Guy Spacie | Director/Founder
Guy has 15 years’ experience in the construction sector across a range of vocations, starting his career as an engineering operative he moved into the design sector with positions as a structural technician in Structural Engineering practices. Taking the decision to specialise in the structural Timber aspect of construction he become a timber frame designer holding senior positions within design offices.
Having ran design offices and with the changes in building regulations to favour thermally efficient construction in lowering U-Values and increasing overall building performance Guy in cooperation with Neil Spacie started ECO-SPACE to provide the market with cost effective, high performance timber structures with an emphasis on service.
Responsible for all product & process development, focusing on off-site manufacturing & on-site assembly strategies.
Neil Spacie | Director/Partner
Neil graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Staffordshire University in 2002 and upon returning to Jersey started a 16 year career in the Offshore Finance Industry. In 2010 he joined Standard Chartered Private bank as part of a team that managed clients private wealth, across Sub-Saharan Africa. His last role was Director, Southern Africa, where he lead an experienced team of bankers and business development managers. Throughout this time Neil spent a significant amount of time traveling across the region working in countries such as South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
After establishing ECO-SPACE in 2016, he joined the business full time in 2018. Neil brings a wealth of experience to the senior team and is responsible for the day to day running of the business
Curtis Mansell | Director/Partner
Curtis has 15 Years’ experience in the Timber Frame Construction industry having started his career with Stewart Milne Timber Systems in 2005.
Having held several senior positions within the industry, he plays an important strategic role in the growth of the business. In 2019 he took responsibility of the technical department of ECO-SPACE Ltd, where as Director he led the development of design software upgrades and streamlined design procedures.
As part of a Family owned company, all members of the senior team are directly involved with the day to day running of the business. Driving innovation, growth and improvements.
